HOW TO ENTER

Beginning August 6, 2009 at 9:00 a. m. Eastern Time (ET) until 
October 30, 2009 at 5:00 p. m. Eastern Time (ET) (the “entry 
period”)you may enter the We Care and Friends 2009 Pay Off 
Your Mortgage Raffle in any of the following ways: 

(1) online at www.fiftydollarhouse.com 
or www.wecareandfriends.com 

(2) by mailing a check for $50 to the We Care and Friends 
2009 Pay Off Your Mortgage Raffle along with your name, 
address, contact phone, and email address (all mail entries 
must be received by Friday October 23, 2009) 

(3) By phone at the number listed at www.fiftydollarhouse.com 

(4) at We Care and Friends office at 92 W Washington St 
Annapolis, MD 21401 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday 
through Friday.  All eligible entries received will be 
entered into the Grand Prize Drawing.

HOW THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER WILL BE DETERMINED

Each eligible entry will be assigned a unique 5 digit 
number ranging from 10001 - 35000.  3 ping pong balls 
numbered 1 through 3 will be placed in a container.  A ball 
will be drawn.  This will be the first digit of the winning
entry. 10 ping pong balls numbered 0 through 9 will then be
placed in the container and a number will be drawn in the
same method as previously mentioned and this will be the
second digit of the winning entry. This will be repeated 3
more times for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th digits. The person 
whose entry matches all five digits in order will be 
declared the winner.  In the event that no one matches all
five digits in order, the process will be repeated until a
winner is declared. The same methodology will be used for 
all prizes awarded.  

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By entering the raffle, all entrants consent to the use 
of their name, photograph,  likeness, biography, voice 
and/or video for advertising and promotional purposes, 
including online announcements, worldwide and without 
limitation and without additional compensation except 
where prohibited by law.  The odds of winning depend 
upon the number of eligible entries received for the 
applicable drawing. 

Sponsor reserves the right to offer a consolation 
prize of 60% of total ticket sale revenue and not 
award the original prizes if less than 16,000 tickets 
are sold (this applies to Grand Prize and Second 
Prize only, weekly prizes will still be awarded as 
scheduled).

A maximum of 20,000 tickets will be sold.

All costs, taxes, fees and expenses associated with 
a prize or the acceptance and use of any element of 
a prize not specifically addressed herein are the 
sole responsibility of the respective winners.

GRAND PRIZE

One (1) Grand Prize winner shall win $150,000 in cash 
and have their mortgage/deed of trust paid off (up to 
$400,000.00 (US)). If the Grand Prize winner’s mortgage 
payoff is less than $400,000.00 (US) the remaining amount 
will be awarded to the Grand Prize winner in a lump sum 
payment. If the Grand Prize winner does not have a mortgage 
the prize will be awarded in a lump sum payment.  Grand 
prize winner must be at least 18 years of age.  The Grand 
Prize winner will be issued IRS form W2G in the amount of 
the prize received.  Any income taxes arising from winning 
any Prize shall be the responsibility of the prize winner.

SECOND PRIZE

One Second prize winner will have their mortgage/deed of 
trust paid for one year (up to a $30,000.00 value).  
If the second prize winner’s mortgage/deed of trust payments 
are less than $30,000.00, the remaining amount will be awarded 
in a lump sum payment.  If the second prize winner does not 
have a mortgage the prize will be awarded in a lump sum payment.  
The second prize winner must be at least 18 years of age.  
Any taxes arising from winning any prize shall be the 
responsibility of the prize winner.

EARLY BIRD PRIZES

Two weekly $500 prize winners will be drawn each Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. beginning September 16, 2009 
and continuing through October 28, 2009, from all eligible entries received y 4:59 p.m. that day.  
Ticket purchasers will be eligible for all early bird drawings from the time of purchase through the 
grand prize drawing.  All prize winners must be at least 18 years of age.
